These designs were developed in conversation with Driade, with aim to manufacture them in melamine. An experimental casting technique was developed to explore the potential forms of the designs as well as the production of the initial prototypes. The moldmaking technique afforded the designs a sympathetic quality of form in relation to fruit and fruit packaging.
