Low investment tooling and my modest workshop facilities formed the context for this pendant shade design. The shades were vacuum formed by a toy boat manufacturer in Lancashire and trimmed in my workshop with a hand router. 1000's later the charm and appeal of self-manufacture had nearly worn off.
