Glass Design had particular facilities and expertise and the Brilliant trestle was conceived to reflect this. In particular their UV bonding technology made glass construction possible and the utilitarian and humble nature of the trestle table seemed the perfect vehicle to explore this. The junction between the trestle and the tabletop demanded a lovely rubber detail.
